New Councillor - 27.11.2009

As covered in the September Newsletter, Municipal Elections were held last month and Mr Sam Collard enrolled as a candidate after Dean Brady resigned as Councillor.  Voting was not necessary as Mr Collard was the only nomination, therefore after the elections Mr Collard was announced as the new Councillor.   The GCA would like to welcome Sam as our representative on the Gingin Shire Council and assure him of our support and encouragement on behalf of Guilderton.

The GCA would also like to thank Dean Brady for the great work he did during his time on the Shire Council.  His efforts to ensure clear communications between the Shire and the local community were always appreciated by everyone.
