Shire Report on Preliminary ODP - 01.09.2010

GUILDERTON SOUTH URBAN DEVELOPMENT

Staff have received a preliminary Outline Development Plan (ODP) which will be reviewed in relation to the above development.

Initial perusal of the documentation indicates that the ODP may be deficient in a number of crucial areas, including water supply and it is unlikely that Council would be able to consider the ODP with such deficiencies.

Staff are currently liaising with the proponent’s Planners in order to alleviate these deficiencies.  It is envisaged that once this has occurred the ODP will be presented to Council to consider a Public Notice period.
